Nothing compares to the sight of our Diwali table at home, overflowing with laddoos, barfis, and gulab jamuns. It’s my favourite time of the year, filled with so much sweetness and joy.

I was born in Kolkata, and every time I visit, I indulge in all the street food I can find. There's just something about it that makes Kolkata's street food unbeatable—whether it's the puchkas, dahi kachori, kachori sabzi, or bread toast. Kolkata’s flavors outshine Mumbai and Delhi every single time!

I know not all of these dishes are traditionally Malaysian, but during my 3 weeks in Malaysia, I had some amazing vegetarian food! Luckily, many places offered veggie-friendly versions of classic Malaysian dishes like Nasi Lemak and Nasi Goreng, and everything was absolutely delicious!
